Quick-fit Door

The vessels use a quick-fit door system, which allows fast and efficient lifting of the door in and out for loading and unloading with the use of a loading shovel. The loading shovel is fitted with an attachment, which fits directly onto a loading shovel in the same way that a bucket does.

The “stay clean” doors are manufactured so that all the recesses on the door front have slanted top edges so compost does not sit on them. The multi angular design of the solid concrete walls behind the door also keeps the door jambs clean (previously on our 1st generation vessels compost would sit in the steel frame that held the door jambs in place).
